Dear community member,

"Nepalese Cultural Center" is one of the major objectives of NST since it's inception in 1998. We had various talk series, public meetings, and topics of agenda in various events since than for this purpose. NST called a meeting again on June 10th, 2007 at DFW Hindu Temple for only those who showed keen interest in "Nepalese Cultural Center" who were identified in previous public meetings. The purpose of this meeting was to form a committee that can accelerate the need of the center in DFW Nepalese Community.

By this very meeting, floor passed the proposal to create an AD HOC Committee of Nine Members. Following are the members of this ad hoc committee.

Expand the committee - within one month

Create sub committees - within one month

Prepare By-Laws, divide responsibilities and create procedures - within three months

Open up separate bank account, comply with fundraising rules and regulation with US state and federal agencies - within three months.

Hold a public meeting, decide for fund raising, and publish cultural center related news letter and further plan - within three months.

This is the project of all the Nepalese living in DFW and this committee find a way for every one to involve.
