On the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami 2007, on behalf of NST, I wish you and all good health, happiness and prosperity and also to strengthen our ties and bring peace and joy to the world. I also wish Peace and Democratic process prevails in Nepal. Season's Greetings!!!.
 
At this time, I have following NST updates:
 
1.Dashain 2007 Celebration

This year on the occasion of our greatest festival Dashain, NST is organizing Dashain Sanjh with "Deepak Bajracharya & Rhythm Band" as well as Culture programs from local talents from around the DFW, food and other activities at Knights INN: 120 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062 on October 14th, 2007 (Sunday). The program will start at 8.00 pm. Please join us to celebrate together with our friends and families and greet each other in this special occasion. The entrance fee is as below.
Members Entrance for the program: $5.00 (you must have valid membership of NST, Membership can be obtain by contacting NST executives or from the membership desk during this event. The membership fees for two year is $10. Members can participate during election voting process, become candidates in future, get discounted value in NST events as set by the executive committee, and other community benefits).

Kids under 10: Free Entrance
Kids age 10-17: $5.00
All others $15.00

Below are the important information regarding election:

In order to participate in voting process, you must be NST members. Membership can be obtain by contacting any of our executive members(www.nepalesesociety.org) or during the election date at membership desk.
You must show the proof of Texas Residency by providing valid TX DL/ID. Other means of identification will not be entertain.
You must be 18 years of old to obtain membership and participate in voting process.
There will be election for all position except Asst. Treasurer
The venue of the election is 120 W. airport freeway, Irving, TX-75062 and Voting will be conducted between 12 PM- 12 AM.

At the end, I wish all the candidates good luck and congratulation to Asst. Treasurer elect Amar Maya Lama. It was my privileges and honor to serve this community on behalf of NST. My four years with NST as Secretary & President along with other executive members and various dynamic individuals was able to give new dimensions and height to the NST through various programs such as ANA convention, Nepalese Language & Cultural School, NST News Letter, NST office and infrastructures and currently through Nepalese Cultural and Spiritual Center "Nepalese Temple". I thank you all for your support and I hope the New team will uplift this momentum and we will work together.
