Voters must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a member of Nepalese Society, Texas.(see the following details how to become member of NST)
- Must be a Texas Resident with Nepali origin
- Must present Texas ID /License ( Must be a picture ID)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Individuals married with Nepalese citizens are qualified to vote.
How to become member of NST?
There will be a membership/registration desk available at the voting site. Anyone who wishes to become a member of NST can become member by filling out the membership form and paying the membership fee ($10.00 for 2 yrs). Please note that only members of NST can participate in voting process. However membership is not required to join the Dashain Program.
