- * Nomination Form must be turned in to election committee before the deadline in person.
- * Nomination Fee is non-refundable.
- * Nomination filing fee must be in money orders.
- * Nomination form will be available at NST Office and NST web site.
Withdrawal Date:-
Candidate can officially withdraw their nomination by 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 30, 2007 or before.

Note: For your convenience, Election Committee members will be available every Sunday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
at NST office (see address above)Nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a member of Nepalese Society, Texas.
- Must be a Texas Resident with Nepali origin.
- Must carry a Texas ID / Driver License.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must present the copy of ID along with nomination fee (only money order is accepted)

Election Venue:
Knights Inn 120 W. Airport Frwy Irving, Texas 75062 Voters must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a member of Nepalese Society, Texas.(see the following details how to become member of NST)
- Must be a Texas Resident with Nepali origin
- Must present Texas ID /License ( Must be a picture ID)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Individuals married with Nepalese citizens are qualified to vote.
How to become member of NST?
There will be a membership/registration desk available at the voting site. Anyone who wishes to become a member of NST can become member by filling out the membership form and paying the membership fee ($10.00 for 2 yrs). Please note that only members of NST can participate in voting process. However membership is not required to join the Dashain program.
