Dear Community members,
 
First of all, thank you all for attending last week's New Year 2064 Celebration held in Knights INN on 15th of April 2007. Let me update you all about some of our effort around this event.
New Year 2064
Nepalese Society Texas is glad to have Senior Musical Artist Shambhujeet Baskota and another well known artist Anish Sapkota, Sabina Joshi & Goma Yonjan in this event. Two CD regarding SAI BABA by Sabina Mishra and one Musical CD 'TIMI LAI' by Ram Pandey were introduced in this event. Thank you Sabina Mishra & Ram Pandey for choosing NST as an platform for CD Bimochan.
 
NST also would like to thank Rojina Maharjan, Pragya Sitoula, Pratikshya Baruwal, Sunita karki, Sangita Bajracharya, Sunil Shrestha, Tika Ram Poudel & Friends, Raj Bahadur Thapa, Ram Pandey, Silvia Bastola, Sakshi Shrestha and Tilasmi Bista for your great performances during the event. Without you all, this program wouldn't be better.
 
NST also would like to thank Pushpa Poudel, KL Ranjit, Nabin Ranjit, Rasik, Rajan Rijal, Krishna Lamichane, Ram Pokhrel, Rabin Lama, Lalit Chiring, Mahesh Nepal, Bashu Sharma, Subhadrika Dhakal, Rakshya Adhikari, Bhim Karki, Rabindra Shrestha, Sarju Ranjit and all the volunteers for their valuable time and support for this event. Thanks to NST Vice President Bhim Karki, Joint Secretary Sushil Chhetri & Treasurer Sajan Mulmi for carrying out this event.
Eklo Tara(NST Publication)
Nepalese Society Texas also published its bi-annual magazine during New Year Event. Editorial board has put lots of effort and time for this publication. I can tell you all that this publication is getting better. We have realized that there are some issues with the editing and proof reading. As we are coordinating remotely and because of not having enough time, we couldn't proof read each and every articles on time. On behalf of editorial board and NST, I am sorry to all of you if your contribution was mishandled. I request you all to involved in future publication and make it better next time.
 
I also would like to thank all the contributors, sponsors and well wishers of Eklo Tara and hope to get same kind of support in future. Thanks to editor in chief Bhim Karki, editorial advisor Mahesh Nepal, Marketing advisors Kumod Rimal, Ram Pokhrel, and Robin Lama for all of you time and contribution.
