Sub: Summer Camp Registation Starts - First Come First Serve - Limited to 100 Children

Date: July 6- 25, 2009
Venue: DFW Hindu Temple
Registration fee: $150 for 3 weeks program

Now, summer camp 2009 organizing committee has formally started accepting the application for 2009 summer cultural and spiritual camp. This year again, we will organize the program in DFW Hindu temple Irving. Unfortunately, because of the limited space, we are only in a position to accept maximum 100 students for the program. We will accept application on first come - first serve basis.

Therefore, we sincerely request all parents/families to submit the application form to any member of the organizing committee ASAP and reserve space for your children

As a continuation of our efforts to teach Nepali culture, values, and spirituality to our children, NST/ NCSC jointly organizing a 21-day Intensive Summer Program this summer (July 6-25) of 2009. Dr. Chinta Mani Yogi, a celebrated guru and a popular and respectful name among Nepalese people living in DFW, has accepted our invitation to coordinate this program.

Recently, an formal discussion took place among interested parents at Nepali schools. the meeting formed a 58 member committe and many sub-committe to facilitate the program.

Teaching our values and culture to our children and promoting/preserving Nepalese traditions, culture, and religions are the responsibility of each parent and any responsible citizen. Without communities’ cooperation and participation, this program cannot be successful. Therefore, we would be grateful if all community members kindly help this program by sending their children and serving as volunteers.
